Terms of payment

The booking will be created once you have, accepted our GTC in the booking process on our online portal via checkbox, and have clicked on the button “Book now”. After you have authorised the deposit by credit card or paid by PayPal, you will receive the invoice together with the booking confirmation and the corresponding insurance documents by e-mail.

The deposit can be paid by VISA, Mastercard or PayPal. In contrast to the deposit, the final payment can be paid by credit card or bank transfer (in case of bank transfer, the booking number must be entered as the reference). ATTENTION: direct debit (with SEPA) is not possible for customers residing in Switzerland. PayPal is more expensive in the payment processing. In order to keep the costs as low as possible for the customers, CU | Travel does not use this payment method for the final payment.
No matter which payment method you choose, there are no additional costs for the payment processing.

It is possible to make instalments for both the deposit and the final payment. The instalments can be made in steps of 500 EUR. This is especially helpful if the total amount exceeds the limit of your credit card.

The deposit must be paid immediately after booking. If you choose a credit card as payment method, the deposit will only be collected after the service has been confirmed as OK. Otherwise the authorisation expires automatically after 7 days. The final payment is usually payable 30 days before the start of the trip.

Rebooking and cancellation fees must be paid immediately. The basis for the calculation are the prices last announced by CU | Travel.

Payments will only be accepted by us in principle against the issue of a security certificate. The security certificate is the confirmation that the funds transferred by the customer (down payment and balance payment) are fully secured. The security certificate is sent by e-mail together with the booking confirmation/invoice. These documents are also available for download in the CU | Customer Portal. The guarantor for CU | Travel is Zurich Insurance plc.
