There’s hardly a better feeling than planning your next holiday. The excitement of looking up new places to visit and things to do is unbeatable.

Reading itineraries helps—and we have plenty of them.
Tip

However, naturally, you want to make the most of your holiday budget—as every little saving gives you more to put aside for your next adventure.

Save with early booking and longer rentals

Many of our partners offer discounts if you book early or rent for a longer period. The exact offers vary by country and rental provider, but they can noticeably reduce the total cost of your trip.

Early-bird discounts

Early-bird discounts are usually available six to twelve months before your trip. In many cases, they are tiered—meaning the earlier you book, the more you can save.

Long-term hire discounts

Long-term hire discounts often start from around 15 days and increase the longer you rent. If you’re planning an overseas road trip, a rental of two to three weeks is often recommended anyway. This gives you enough time to travel at a relaxed pace while also benefiting from these longer-rental savings.

Grab a “driveaway”

A one-way transfer of a new camper—available in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia—can be an exciting way to travel. It lets you enjoy a brand-new vehicle, but requires a flexible schedule since pickup and drop-off times are set by the rental company.

CU | Camper added benefits

Beyond the offers provided by our partners, we also have a few additional ways to help you save on your next trip:

Loyalty rewards: Depending on how often you’ve booked with us before, you can receive up to €50 off your next rental.
Traveller stories: Share your travel experience on our website and receive a €50 travel voucher. Your report should include at least 600 words and six images with a minimum width of 1,500 px.
Special campaigns: We occasionally run short-term promotions across our online channels. One highlight each year is “Black Camper Week” in late November, when particularly attractive offers are available. It’s best to subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss out on these deals.

Practical tips to cut travel costs

Besides the special offers from our partners and the added benefits we provide, there are simple ways to save on your trip:

Cook on board: Using the camper’s kitchen is much cheaper than eating out every day. Most motorhomes have modern, fully equipped kitchens, making cooking easy and enjoyable. If you’re unsure about facilities, check our camper comparison.
Fuel efficiency: Fuel is often the biggest expense. Driving gently and / or choosing a compact camper instead of a large motorhome can save a surprising amount.

When are motorhome rentals cheapest?

There isn’t a single “best time” to book, as any available discounts are automatically applied during your search. What matters more is when you travel. Prices are generally highest during local summer months and school holidays. Travelling outside peak periods can save money and avoid crowds—but be mindful that some attractions and campsites may be closed.

Now that you know how to make the most of our partners discounts and our added benefits, it’s time to start planning your next adventure.

With everything from compact campers to spacious motorhomes ready for the road, the only question left is: Where will you go?
